GYM & POOL ETTIQUETTE
Rules at the gym come down to basic courtesy and common sense.
Be kind and treat others how you would like to be treated. Here are some tips that will help you to avoid becoming the Bad Gym Guy who slams the weights, talks loudly on his mobile phone and seems not to respect others!
1. Mobile Phones: Cell phones used on the fitness floor is a definite No-No. No one wants to be part of your personal conversations; they distract your mental focus. Everyone needs to achieve their fitness goals
2. Clean After Use: You don’t want to sit in someone else’s sweat, so why make them to sit in yours? After using any type of equipment at the club be sure to wipe it off!
3 Body Odours: Think about your body odour. Working out makes you sweat
and that’s why you do it. But sweating makes you smell. Be considerate and wear deodorant
4. Weights: Put things back where you found them. Never leave dumbbells or barbells on the floor when you have finished using them. Someone could trip on the weights if you leave dumbbells on the floor between sets.
5. Share Equipment: Do not ignore other’s request to share equipment
that your are using while your are resting between sets.
